The restaurant was built in 1972 by Ray and Marge Pavek. Ray and Marge are the mother and step-father of current owner Cheri who shares ownership with her son Ryan and his wife Andrea Peil. Ryan, Andrea, and Cheri took over ownership in July of 2020.
